Human enterovirus 71 strain H is propagated in LLC-MK2 Derivative cells (ATCC CCL-7.1). This viral strain was isolated from vesicular fluid from an adult female with hand, foot, and mouth disease in Wuhan, China, and was deposited by the National Cancer Institute. This viral strain has applications in enteric and infectious disease research.

YUMM5.2 is a cell line with epithelial-like morphology isolated in 2015 from the skin of an adult male mouse with melanoma. This cell line is genetically modified containing human relevant mutations like BrafV600E (wild-type); p53-/-. It also has Tyrosinase:CreERT2 transgene which restricts recombination to melanocytes. It was deposited by the Yale University School of Medicine.
